The Hartville High School Class of 2020 finally received their diplomas during commencement held on Friday, June 12 as the district was the first Wright County district to hold commencement. Each graduate had just 12 tickets to give to loved ones in order to attend the event. Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Class of 2020 was set to graduate on Friday, May 15. The valedictorian was Aubrey Hardcastle and the Class of 2020 salutatorian was Bailey Martin. Both seniors made speeches to graduates and those in attendance. Also making remarks were Hartville High School Principal Jennifer Sanders and Hartville Superintendent Mark Piper.
