Glenn Steven Cardin, son of Don and Elizabeth (Eakin) Cardin, was born Oct. 25, 1956, in Valparaiso, Ind., and departed this life on Dec. 31, 2020, at his home in Mountain Grove. He was 64 years, 2 months and 6 days of age. Steve grew up in Mountain Grove and was a graduate from Mountain Grove High School, Class of 1974. He enjoyed life as a mechanic and doing body work. He liked going fishing, wood working and visiting with his family, friends and neighbors. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Don Cardin. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Cardin; one sister, Glenna McDougal and her husband, Larry; two sons, Shay Cardin and his wife, Kristie, and Coleby Cardin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2021 at Christian Brethren Fellowship, located at 801 North Busch St., Mountain Grove. Burial will be in Clifty Hall Cemetery, Vanzant.
