Fugitives still on run after two county pursuit

Both the Webster County Sheriff’s Office and Wright County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information on the whereabouts of  three fugitives who led deputies on a two county pursuit last Tuesday, Jan 18.

According to information from the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, deputies started a pursuit of a blue Dodge truck on Tracks Road that was believed to be operated by fugitive Steven Bohlinger with  fugitive passenger Richard Young.

Bohlinger, who is from Niangua, is wanted on previous charges of tampering, resisting arrest, trafficking of methamphetamine and the unlawful possession of a firearm.

Young is wanted for a parole violation.

The two led deputies on a pursuit from Webster County into Wright County, where it ended on Highway 5 near Grovespring. The vehicle was abandoned in a field and the search was called off around midnight on Jan. 19.

Wright County Dispatch later received several calls regarding two suspiciious subjects walking along Highway 5 in Wright County who were reportedly hiding their faces as cars drove by.

Information was later provided that Alex Reed, from Laclede County, was with Bohlinger prior to the Jan. 18 pursuit. Reed is wanted on a felony warrant.

It is expected that the suspects can be in either Laclede, Webster or Wright counties.

The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous and the public is not encouraged to make contact with the individuals.
