Four teenagers were injured in a one vehicle accident that occurred on County Road 246, just three miles east of Champion at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, Jacob Coon, 18, of Drury, was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. Both he and Adrian Roberts, 18, of Cabool, suffered minor injuries. Mykaela Wild, 18, of Fordland, suffered moderate injuries. A 16-year-old female from Cabool had serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital. Reportedly, only Coon wore a safety device.
