Faith Elaine Sparks, 68, of Mountain Grove, passed from this life peacefully in her home on July 13, 2021. A Celebration of Life was held at the First Church of God in East Prairie, Mo. on Aug. 6, 2021. Family and friends came from miles around to sing songs of worship and share stories of her faith, love and laughter.
Faith always saw the blessings in everything she did. Her many life adventures include being a proud cheerleader at East Prairie High School, where she graduated in 1971, traveling to Tokyo and Germany for family celebrations, raising buffalo in Colorado and South Dakota and her greatest life adventure of all; raising her five children. Faith undertook many jobs and made lifelong friends in the process. Faith was always singing and laughing and was known for her strong faith in God, love for her children and family and pride in her country. Faith leaves all of us better for having known her. Faith is survived by her five children, Kisha Wilkins, of Grand Junction, Colo.; Jeremy Hale, of Mountain Grove; Jeremy McKay, of Denver, Colo.; Becky Halverston, of Vernal, Utah; and Elizabeth McKay, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and 10 grandchildren. Faith is preceded in death by her parents; sister; three brothers; and her husband, Terry Sparks.
