Evelyn I. Steele Hazelrigg was born Aug. 30, 1939, at Sedalia, to the late John and Evelyn Irene (Dickenson) Steele, and quietly departed from this life on Oct. 15, 2021, at her residence in Ellisville. At a very early age Evelyn placed her faith in Jesus Christ. She was united in holy matrimony to Milton M. Hazelrigg on Oct. 20, 1959. This union was blessed with three children, Steven Hazelrigg, Sandra (Gary) Carter and Milton Daniel (Teresa) Hazelrigg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton M. Hazelrigg; her son, Steven Hazelrigg; and her sister, Joann Hazelrigg. Evelyn was a devoted homemaker. Her beautiful life will forever be missed by her children, her sisters and brothers and by her grandchildren. Graveside services for Evelyn Hazelrigg were held Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery with Chaplain Richard Ware officiating.
