The Hartville Eagles baseball team saw their season end in the Summit Conference Tournament semifinals when they lost to rival Mansfield, a team they beat a little less than one month earlier during the regular schedule.

Hartville finished the fall with an impressive 13-4 record, which included their first ever Crane Fall Wood Bad Tournament championship and a Conway Fall Classic title.

Before the disappointing loss, the Eagles beat Fordland for the second time this season by the exact same score of 11-1.

Hartville scored nine runs through the first two innings and never looked back in the four inning win.

Hunter Lowery paced the Eagles’ offense with two RBIs and two runs scored while both Grant Culver and Ethan McDaris had one RBI and scored twice.

Dakota Stigall had two RBIs; both Eric Wilson and Brody McNiel had one RBI and one run scored; and Justin Parker scored one time; and Isaac Boyer added one RBI.

On the mound, Hunter Delcour tossed five innings and allowed one earned run in five innings and struck out three.
