Delores “Susie” Susanne Moad, daughter of late Otis Wood and Sue (Skaggs) Anderson, was born on July 25, 1971, in Mountain View, and passed away Nov. 26, 2020, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. She was 49 years, 4 months and 26 days of age. Susanne married Robert “Bobby” Smith on June 6, 1996, in Mountain Grove. Bobby preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 2013. Susanne enjoyed spending the majority of her time with her grandbabies, family and friends. She enjoyed singing, taking long car rides and making everyone laugh. When she was able, she loved to be outdoors. She was a Christian. She loved God and going to church. She would help anyone she could and loved unconditionally.
Susanne is preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Behm; one brother, Virgil “Bubby” Woods; and her maternal grandparents. Susanne is survived by her mother, Sue Anderson and stepfather, James, of Mountain Grove; one sister, Lana Nelson, and husband, Willie, of Rogersville; two sons, Levi Ray and wife, Destiny, of Cabool, and Chance Woods and wife, Dolores, of Springfield. Three grandchildren, Connor, Zane and BraeLynn and her boyfriend, John Castleberry, of Cabool; and many other relatives and friends who love her dearly. Funeral services for Delores Susanne Moad will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Norwood Assembly of God with the Rev. Tom Fortner officiating.
