Mountain Grove’s Cade Coffman has already started a special senior season at Evangel University.
Not only is he averaging 18.5 points per game, he led the Valor to an upset win over NCAA Division II Drury, 89-62.
It was the first meeting between the schools in 22 years.
Coffman would score a career-high 42 points after making 14-of-23 shots from the floor to help Evangel beat Drury for the first time since January of 1992.
He also made 7-of-14 shots from behind the 3-point line.
Meanwhile, Hartville standout Ryce Piper scored four points and was whistled for four fouls in 15 minutes of play.
Piper is currently a freshman for the Drury University.
