Bonnie Jean Jones, daughter of the late Marion “Budge” and Joyce (Cason) Cogdill, was born on May 15, 1934 at Oden. She was called into the Lord’s loving arms Tuesday evening at her home, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 18 days. Bonnie was a 1951 graduate of Hartville High School in Hartville. Prior to retirement she worked at the Wright County Health Department for 43 years. On Nov. 2, 1956, she was united in marriage with Kenneth Jones and to this union a loving daughter was born.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jones, of Hartville; a daughter, Kenna Brunner and her husband, Dennis; a granddaughter, Tiffany Quiring and her husband, Chad; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Caleb and Caylee; a brother, Sherman Cogdill, all of Branson; an aunt, Wilda Cogdill, of Springfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartville. She also was a member of the Gasconade Neighbors Board, the Wright County Health Department Board and Ombudsman.  Bonnie loved to knit, crochet, travel, tend to her garden and flowers, cook and bake especially when it was to feed her family. She could make some amazing pies that were unforgettable. She was always someone willing to help anyone in need, caring for people was important to her; but, most of all, Bonnie loved taking care of family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and will cherish the many happy memories she created.
