Bobby Gene Todd, 87, son of Virgil V. Todd and Beulah (Campbell) Todd-Hart was born May 28, 1934, in Bucyrus. He went to be with his Savior at Texas County Memorial Hospital on Sep. 28, 2021. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, entering the service on Jan. 16, 1957, and was honorably discharged May 8, 1959. He married Paulene Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Paulene; his siblings, Dorothy and Tommy V. Todd. He is survived by sisters, Karen Williams and Mike, of Lawson; Neva Reysack and Johnnie, of Coulter, Iowa; a nephew, Freddie Wilson, of the home; stepdaughter, Judith Huff and children, of Success; many nieces and nephews are left to grieve; Jeremy Gladden and family, of Plato; Karrie Sandfort and family, of Ashland; and Robert Simonelli, nephew, and Godson, of San Francisco, Calif.; and special friends, Bob and Misty, of Plato. His much-loved church family of Success Baptist Church will greatly miss him. Bobby was well known for his fiddle playing. It was a gift he so enjoyed and sharing with his church and family was always a highlight of gatherings. He is now in heaven to hunt and fish with his dad and Brother Tommy. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Services were Monday Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ted Moore officiating. Burial was with full military honors in Boone Creek Cemetery.
