Beulah Irene Orf

Beulah Irene Orf, daughter of the late Claude and Eunice (Goddard) Baney, was born April 19, 1933, in Texas County, Missouri, and departed this life on Oct. 29, 2020. She was 87 years, 6 months and 10 days of age. Beulah grew up in Wright and Texas Counties and went to school in Cabool. She was baptized at Tower Baptist Church in October 1956. Beulah lived in O’Fallon, and retired from Monsanto, where she worked in the warehouse. Upon her retirement, she moved back to Mountain Grove. She loved being outside enjoying the weather under a shade tree with her soda and spending time with family.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy R. Orf; a son, Steven W. Lewis; a grandson, Kenny Gaddis; her parents, Claude and Eunice Baney; four brothers; and one sister. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gaddis and husband, Gene, of Mountain Grove, and Pam Bertels and husband, Mark, of Troy; one sister, Ruth Coble, of Mountain Grove; one brother, Carl Baney and wife, Gayla, of Wentzville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much. Graveside services for Beulah Orf were held Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Gaddis officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeremi Bertels, James Bertels, Gene Gaddis, Norman Freeman, Dale Coble and Shane Walter. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
