Adrien George Granier, Jr., “Boy," 84, passed from this life on Feb. 3, 2022, at his home in Hartville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrien Granier Sr. and Virginia Schexnayder Granier; four brothers, Earl, Albert, Henry and Roy Granier; and two sisters, Vernice Brawd and Hazel Poirier.
Adrien is survived by his adoptive family and caretakers, Jason and Rae Lynn Mercer; two grandchildren, Jay Mercer and his wife, Courtney, and Alisha Mercer Cotter and her husband, Johnny; and six great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Milton Granier, of Hartville; two sisters, Doris G. Castleberry, of Port Vincent, La., and Joyce G. Haydel, of Gonzales, La.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A family burial will be Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at 12 p.m. noon at Dorris Cemetery, Hartville.
