Mountain Grove gets new scoreboard, Arena court gets updated
In the past couple of weeks, Mountain Grove High School has completed a pair of projects that enhance the athletic facilities for the district.
The Arena floor project finished recently and new Mountain Grove R-III Superintendent Dr. Aaron Gerla says he is happy with the results.
“The addition of the Panther head to center court as well as the other color features really makes the court top notch,” Superintendent Dr. Gerla said.
The Arena project was followed last week by a new football scoreboard being installed, which was paid for by a contribution made by Dick Wilson and his family.
Wilson and his family will be visiting the campus during the Panthers’ week two football match-up with Highland, Ark.
This will also provide an opportunity for district patrons to thank Wilson and his family for their generous contributions.
“The new digital scoreboard is a big upgrade, that includes a 9’ x25’ video board,” Dr. Gerla noted.
“We want to thank everyone who had a part in these projects and as always it’s a great day to be a panther.”
