Hartville’s Isaac Boyer receives prestigious CFO Scholarship
Isaac Boyer
Isaac Boyer, a 2022 graduate of Hartville High School, has received the Hearld and Marge Ambler Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Boyer, the son of Britany and Lance Boyer, is attending Missouri State University, where he studies accounting.
“I am truly honored and grateful to receive this scholarship. It allows me to avoid taking on student loans this year, enabling me to focus on investing in myself and my future career,” Boyer said.
The Hearld and Marge Ambler Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. Ambler to benefit business majors in their third, fourth or fifth year in college.
Ambler co-founded the CFO in 1973.
The CFO and its regional affiliate foundations — including the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation — hold about 480 scholarship funds, established by generous donors to help students from across central and southern Missouri achieve their goals of higher education.
The application period for the 2025–26 school year will open Jan. 1, 2025, and run through mid-March. For more information, visit cfozarks.org/scholarships.
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is the region’s largest public charitable foundation serving donors, nonprofit partners and 55 regional affiliate foundations with assets totaling $490 million as of June 30, 2024.
The CFO’s mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in central and southern Missouri through resource development, community grant making, collaboration and public leadership.
