Candidates attend fall meeting for Wright County retired teachers

Wright County Retired School Personnel met for their first fall meeting on Sep. 22. Our speakers were candidates for local offices. Those attending and speaking were candidates for state representative in District 141, Darrel Swofford and Melissa Schmidt; candidates for state senator in District 16, Virginia Stabbs and Bill Hardwick; and candidate for Wright County Associate Judge, Jason MacPherson. Candidate for Missouri State Auditor, Scott Fitzpatrick responded with an email to our group. 
We were very pleased that these candidates took time to share their goals and opinions with our group.
Our next meeting will be Oct. 20, 10 a.m. at the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Mountain Grove. We encourage all retired school personnel and other interested parties to attend.
