Vicki Lynn Fry

Vicki Lynn Fry was born to Beverly and Carlene (Todd) Fry on July 1, 1956, in Mountain Grove. She went to her home in heaven to be reunited with her family on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was 68 years and 16 days of age. Vicki grew up in Mountain Grove and graduated with the Mountain Grove High School Class of 1974. Vicki attended college at what was then known as Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) in Springfield. Following college she moved to Kansas City. Vicki was a very kind and compassionate soul. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age while attending Friendship Baptist Church, where she has been a member for many years.
Vicki was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry “Pop” and Marie Fry; her maternal grandparents, Ernie and Anna Todd; her parents, Beverly and Carlene (Todd) Fry; her brother, Rick Fry; aunts, Joyce Todd and Berniece Bogart; and uncles, Don Todd and Clarel Todd. Vicki is survived by her uncle and aunt, Tom and Wilda Todd, of Mountain Grove; aunt, Mary Todd, of Texas; and many cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in the Hillcrest Cemetery of Mountain Grove with the Rev. Allen Pritchard officiating. Special songs were “Amazing Grace” and “If You Could See Me Now.” David Todd, Harry Bogart, Tracy Todd, Tom Todd, Harry Willis, Mackie Gaddis, John Slaughter, Gene Dowden, Tommy Eddie Todd and Bobby Todd served as honorary pallbearers.
