Sheryl Lynn Hagedorn

Sheryl Lynn Hagedorn, 68, passed away at her home in Mountain Grove on May 2, 2025. Born on Dec. 12, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minn., Sheryl was the daughter of Katherine (Chinn) and Frederick Hagedorn. She graduated from Columbine High School and earned her associate's degree from the University of Danville and her bachelor’s degree from Berea College. Sheryl dedicated herself to building a self-sustaining farm on her 80-acre property, which she named Nude Food Farms, LLC. When not tending to the land and animals, she worked by collecting and selling various items online.
Sheryl's survivors include her son, Dustin Hagedorn; daughter-in-law; two grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Koo Koo. People knew Sheryl for her warm smile, green thumb, eccentric character and incredible wit. She loved gardening, tending to her fruit trees, finding unique treasures and baking cookies with her granddaughters. Close friends and family attended a private memorial service at her home on Highway ZZ on Friday, May 16, 2025.
They spread her ashes on the land she always dreamed of and cherished until the end. Cremation was under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
