Ruth Ellen Wachholtz

Ruth Ellen Wachholtz, daughter of the late Raymond Haggith and Joyce (Vogel) Kapke, was born July 18, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisc. She departed this life on June 12, 2025, at the Hartville Care Center in Hartville at the age of 69. Ruth served in the United States Army. In her later years, she enjoyed gardening, working on her farm in Hartville and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Michael Wachholtz. Ruth is survived by one son, Stephen Wachholtz; three brothers, Dan, Dave and Mark Haggith; grandson, Braydon Henschel; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; and many dear friends who will miss her greatly. A private military honors service is planned for a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, Missouri. Arrangements were under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Hartville.
