Robin Lynn (Hall) McNeil

Robin Lynn (Hall) McNeil, daughter of Loretta (Caudle) Hall and the late Alva “Jack” Hall, was born Dec. 10, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, and received her eternal reward on Dec. 13, 2025. She was 65 years and 3 days old. The family moved to Macomb, where Robin grew up on the family farm. She attended Mansfield schools and graduated with the Class of 1979. In 1980, Robin married Troy Hutson, Jr, and two children were born to this union, Jackie in 1981 and Troy Hutson III in 1984. They lived in Dallas, Texas, for a few years before moving back to Missouri.
On Nov. 4, 2000, Robin married Dwayne McNeil and gained four children with this union. Robin loved telling the story of when she was a little girl, how she would chaperone her older brother Larry’s dates with Laurel. She loved her family, and spending time with her grandchildren brought her much joy. Robin was a big sports enthusiast and loved attending her grandkids' sporting events. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Royals. Robin enjoyed being around people and loved spreading joy and happiness to everyone she was around. She would do anything for anybody if she thought there was a need. Robin loved playing Bingo and attending auctions with Dwayne. She was on the Norwood Farmer’s Day committee for many years and a member of the Sunshine Club in Macomb. Robin was a Christian and professed her faith in Christ. She was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church in Macomb, where she had attended for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne McNeil; father, Alva “Jack” Hall; brother, Garry Hall; grandson, Jake McNeil; mother-in-law, Lennie McNeil; and sister-in-law, Sherry Hall. Robin is survived by her mother, Loretta Hall; her children, Jackie Edwards, Troy “Bobby” Hutson and Dora, Pete McNeil and Bertie, Joe “Pudgie” McNeil and Deidra, Julie McNeil, and Jay Baty and Jeff; two brothers and spouses, Larry and Laurel Hall, and David and Carmalee Hall; 10 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Jan Hutson, Jennifer and Steve Chappell, Jim and Debbie Hutson, Toni and Phillip Holcomb, Mary Alice Pool, and Cora Mae Reynolds; 17 grandchildren, Aaron, Dalton, Sydney, Sis, Britt, Jadan, Taylore, Jordan, Austin, Ethan, Bryson, Colin, Makayla, Olivia, Toby, Christy and Travis; and 31 great-grandchildren, Hoyt, Corbin, Luka, Kaidyn, Hestyn, Duttyn, Sterling, Sophie, Easton, Blake, Jaxson, Sophie, Charlie, Korvin, Lily, Katherine, Khali, Grayson, Cameron, Aza, Landon, Adelyn, Lucas, Evangeline, Landon, Ellie, Macy, Noah, Cooper, Logan and Waylon. Robin was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, nana, and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 
Visitation for Robin McNeil was held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Macomb. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. also at the church, with Pastors Jody Naberhuis and Jamie Lansdown officiating. Recorded song selections were “The Garden,” “Save A Place For Me” and “Jealous of the Angels.” Also, Bernetta Williams sang “Wish You Were Here.” Those serving as pallbearers were Britt Keith, Colin McNeil, Ethan Bujarski, Austin McNeil, Aaron McNeil, Dalton McNeil, Bryson Henry and Dustin Laffery. Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Hall, Kevin Hall, Scott Hall, Davy Hall, Randy Hall, Amber Hall, Trevor Reese, Coltan Reese, Caden Hall, Ryder Hall, Alex Moore, Austin Moore, Justin Moore and Cody Moore. Burial was in Macomb Cemetery with Pastor Allen Pritchard conducting the committal service.
