Mary Jane Hutsell,

Mary Jane Hutsell, 83, of West Bloomfield, Mich., passed away Friday, June 12, 2026. Mary Jane is the loving mother of Stephanie (Dan) Sapakie, John (Analita Yap) Hutsell and Harry (Deanna) Hutsell; cherished grandmother of Michael Hutsell, Katrina Sapakie, Saniya Sapakie, Hailey Hutsell, Harrison Hutsell and Hunter Hutsell; and dear aunt of four nieces and three nephews. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lee Hutsell, and her brother, John R. “Jack” Buchanan.
The Hutsell family received guests on Friday, June 19, from 3-8 p.m., at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington, MI 48336. heeney-sundquist.com
A funeral service took place on Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment followed at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Mich.
