Lola Mae Lathrom

Lola Mae Lathrom, daughter of the late Oliver Milton and Katie Elizabeth (Ledbetter) Dennis, was born Sep. 27, 1946, and passed away on Jan. 14, 2026, Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, following a brief illness at the age of 79.
Lola was united in marriage to Jerry Lathrom in 1965. Three children were born to this union: Donna Jean, Doyle Dwayne and Terry Wayne. Lola’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with them. Lola was saved and baptized at a young age. She remained faithful to the Lord throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed attending church services at Southside Baptist and Emmanuel Baptist.
Besides her parents, Lola was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Chandler and Hazel Lathrom. Lola is survived by her husband, Jerry Lathrom, of the home; one daughter, Donna Todd and husband, Marty, of Van Buren; two sons, Doyle Lathrom and Terry Lathrom, both of Mountain Grove; four grandchildren, Kevin, Amber, Martin and Lee; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral services for Lola Lathrom were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove, with the Rev. Wayne Cannon officiating. Special songs were “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Amazing Grace” and “When We All Get To Heaven.” Jeff Craig, Ronnie Lathrom Jr., Grant Lathrom, Dustin Lathrom, Kevin Lathrom and Trason Davis served as pallbearers.
Burial was in the Green Mountain Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
