Donna Tutt

Donna Tutt, daughter of Orel and Hettie (Seal) Dennis, was born March 1, 1939, in Mansfield, and departed this life June 20, 2024, in her home near Mansfield, at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 1 day. Donna was united in marriage to John Henry Tutt on Sep. 4, 1960.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, on May 16, 2017; son, John Bradley “Brad” Tutt on June 4, 2023; two brothers, Robert Dennis and Gene Dennis; four sisters, Audrey Bailey, Mary Light, Barbara Smith and Reba Lee Dennis.
In 2019, Donna married the Rev. Ted Francis and shared the last five years together. Donna is survived by her husband, Ted; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was born, raised, and lived most of her life in Mansfield where she graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1957. She worked as a cashier at the Bank of Mansfield, now Home Pride Bank, for 40 years, retiring in 2020. Donna had made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and was a longtime member of Mansfield First Baptist Church. Donna was well known by her family and friends for her tremendous love for her dogs.  She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Graveside services for Donna Tutt will be held Saturday, Sep. 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Mansfield Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mansfield.
