Barbara A. Dickison

Barbara A. Dickison, 82, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Independence Care Center. She was born Nov. 17, 1942 in Manes, to Ray and Velma  (Rook) Calton. Barbara and Jerry N. Dickison were married Jan. 26, 1963 in Cabool. Barbara enjoyed gardening, pets, crafting, Hospice Team in Twin Falls ID., and traveling. Everyone loved her cooking. She lived in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. She had pets of all kinds: goats, horses, dogs, skunks and calves. She was especially fond of miniature poodles.
Survivors include son, Jay (Kim) Dickison, of Perryville; sister, Brenda Barton, of Mountian Grove; niece, Lanell Barton Underwood; five grandchildren, Tom Dickison, Amanda Huddleston, Candice Young, Cindy Cragun, Jaylene Dickison, Adena Shantel, Joesph; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Calton and Velma (Rook) Calton; grandchild, Jerry Dickison; niece, Katie Calton; brother-in-law, Clifton Elliot. A celebration of life will immediately follow the burial. Burial will be at Dickison Family Cemetery in Perry County at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
