Norwood CC excels in Van Buren race

Norwood’s boys and girls cross country program had some success at the recent Van Buren Scenic River Run on Sep. 25.
Jayden Chambers led the Lady Pirates with a third place time of 22:00.80 among a field of 61 runners.
Kalie Chadwell finished in 12th place with a time of 23:22.90 for Norwood.
Also running were Lady Pirates’ runners Aaliyah Irby (28:03.90) and Sadie Kelly (28:04.40).
Kyle Barker was the lone Norwood Pirates’ runner as he was in the bottom fourth of 115 runners. His time was 25:12.10.
