Norwood baseball wins one of three to open 2-3

The Norwood Pirates’ baseball team lost two of their three contests last week.
They opened on the road in Gainesville and fell 6-0 to the Bulldogs in a no-hitter.
On the mound, Carder Black tossed five and a third innings and gave up two earned runs on nine hits with three strikeouts and one walk.
Holten Lopez tossed two-thirds of a scoreless inning and had one strikeout.
They followed one day later by crushing Dora, 18-1.

Norwood’s record is now 2-3 on the fall season.
