Nora Ann Coffman

Nora Ann Coffman was born June 24, 1941 in Springfield to Herman Joseph Flood Sr. and Ruth (Woods) Flood Moomey. She departed this life on Dec. 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield at the age of 83 years and 6 months. She was saved and baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist at Rogersville at a young age. Nora spent the better part of her adult life helping those in need through her job as a CNA and retired from Mercy Health Systems after 17 years of service. Nora was united in marriage to Darrell Coffman in 1961.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ernest Eugene Coffman; a brother, Herman Joseph Flood Jr; her sister, Meredith Flood and her in laws and the people she called her real mom and dad, Ernest Vess and Cora Ethel Coffman. She is her survived by her husband, Darrell Coffman, of Norwood; her daughter, Sheila Coffman, of Norwood; her grandson, Benjamin Coffman and his wife, Keri, of Norwood; her great grandson, Skyler, of Norwood; four great-granddaughters, Cora Ann, of Norwood, Alyssia, of Mountain Grove, Jade, of Mountain Grove, and Jaimie, of Houston; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives Graveside services were held Monday Dec. 30, 2024 at 1pm at the Denlow Cemetery with grandson, Benjamin officiating. Services were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. Online condolences may be made at www.egcfuneralhome.com.
