Splatter 101 now open in Grove
K.C Short was joined by her children, Kerrigan Short and Emrehn Short, and Mountain Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Becca Coble along with her daughter, for a recent ribbon cutting ceremony at Splatter 101, located at 111 W. 11th St. in Mountain Grove.
KC Short recently opened Splatter 101, a fun hangout spot for families and friends of all ages, at 111 W. 11th St. in Mountain Grove.
The location features two fun paint rooms with everything needed to have a fun time while wearing protective gear and making a big mess.
One room is for reservations and the other is a general admission room.
There is also a game room with items like a ping pong table and tether ball.
KC said she came up with the idea at home while thinking about a way to provide a family experience activity to the Mountain Grove area.
“What could I do to provide more entertainment to the community that everybody could enjoy for different reasons,” KC said on dreaming up the concept.
Splatter 101 is also something her kids, Kerrigan and Emrehn, can help her with running when it is open from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 4-8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Party options by appointment are also available. Gift cards will be available for purchase in the future.
