Norwood woman killed in wreck was also a teacher at Hartville MS

A Norwood woman was killed and a 10-year-old juvenile suffered serious injuries after an accident with a cow in the roadway that took place 6.5 miles northwest of Gainesville on Highway 5. The wreck took place at 9:58 p.m. on Monday, June 17.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, Holly Cooke, 31, was reportedly driving her 1998 Lincoln Town Car southbound when she struck a cow. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The male juvenile was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Children’s Hospital in Springfield.
Cooke was also a teacher at Hartville Middle School.
