Lady Pirates claim third in Halfway Tournament

The Norwood Lady Pirates’ softball team opened their fall season winning some hardware as they earned a third-place plaque in the recent Halfway Tournament. Their big win came against Walnut Grove, 14-2. They also had a 6-2 loss to Ozark (JV) and a 190-0 loss to the host Halfway.
Then on Sep. 1, the Lady Pirates completely crushed Hillcrest on the road, 22-10.
