There are a lot of activities and fun things on tap for the new bar and grill called The Painted Stallion, which opened six weeks ago at 9399 W. Business 60 in Mountain Grove.
For the past six weeks since opening, customers have been enjoying the selection of 12 beers on tap along with specialty mixed drinks only available at the location.
When it comes to food, options include chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas and more.
Every Saturday features a seafood boil, that may include crawfish from time to time.
Catfish is the focus of Friday’s menu and a steak night will also be scheduled for selected dates.
While food and drinks are a mainstay of the business, there are also a lot of things to do at The Painted Stallion. The location features five televisions featuring collegiate or professional football games with the volume turned up. There are plans in place to possibly add two more larger TVs for more viewing pleasure in the future.
When not watching TV, customers can enjoy time playing on one of two pool tables.
Tournaments are to be held at noon on Saturdays and plans are in place for league pool.
Three sets of cornhole are also available. There is a goal for tournaments and league play to be held for cornhole as well.
Plans in the near future also include live music, live comedy, trivia nights and karaoke nights.
David Hoover will be performing live music on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 5:30-8 p.m.
More plans include opening a sand volleyball pit behind The Painted Stallion that may host leagues some day.
Though there is no smoking inside, plans are in the works for an outdoor area with a tiki bar and fire pit.
The nearly 5,000 sq. ft. location is open from 4:30 p.m.-close on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The Painted Stallion is open from 11 a.m.-close on Saturdays and Sundays.
