Hartville, Mansfield golfers shine in Summit Conference event

Both the Hartville Eagles and Mansfield Lions golf teams took part in the Summit Conference Tournament last week.
Hartville
Hartville finished second place as a team as they were led by Jace Hughes, who was the individual Summit Conference champion after shooting a 75.
Jesse Hughes was second place with an 81 and Jesse Vestal added a 91 for sixth place as all three golfers earned All-Summit Conference honors.
Brent Mount shot a 111 and Kennedy Raney added a 128.
Mansfield
Kadyn Ivy led the Lions’ golf team with a 99 to earn honorable mention All-Summit Conference honors.
Kellen Campbell shot a 104, Jace Headrick had a 107 and Kaden Young shot a115.
Mansfield finished fifth in the team standings at the event played in Marshfield.
