Hartville track athletes win several medals at Strafford

Several Hartville Lady Eagles’ track and field athletes show off their medals from Strafford.
Hartville’s track and field team won several medals at the recent Strafford Invitational.
Kinley Cryer led the Lady Eagles by winning the 800 meters with a time of 2:39.27.
Meanwhile, the 4x200-meter relay team was second (1:56.13) and the 4x400 was third (4:37.47).
Carlyn Cantrell was second place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:42.93.
McKenzi Stigall was second in the 400 (1:04.59) and third in the 200 (28.43).
Jayla Ferguson took seventh in the 200 (29.23) and eighth in the 100 (14.37).
Sahara Fugitt placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (1:00.29) and sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (21.49).
Katia Todd was third in the 300-meter hurdles (56.52) and was eighth in the 400 (1:10.69).
Shaelynn Ghormley took seventh place in the shot put (6.87 meters).
The Hartville Eagles were led by Alex Parsons, who was fourth place in the 800 (2:18.88) and fifth place in the 1,600 (5:09.13).
Boone Garrison was fourth in the 200 meters (24.87).
The 4x400-meter relay team was fourth with a time of 3:57.34.
