Inaugural season tees off for Mansfield golf

The Mansfield Lions’ boys golf team is beginning its inaugural season with four full-time golfers looking to grow in the sport in 2025.
The Lions’ squad features junior Kadyn Ivy along with sophomores Jace Headrick, Kellen Campbell and Kaden Young.
Headrick did play last season when he was a freshman at Gainesville.
“Our goal this year is to learn the game of golf and improve our skills throughout the season,” said Mansfield head golf coach Craig Campbell, who leads the program after playing the sport for 20 years.
Coach Campbell said he wants to “pass along the joy of playing a challenging game that will try your patience and focus every day.”
