Norwood Lady Pirates win Summit Conference title

For just the second time in school history, the Norwood Lady Pirates’ basketball team was crowned the Summit Conference champions after going undefeated at 7-0.
Their last conference crown was won back during the 2000 season, which was their second season in the Summit.
They completed their special run this past week when they traveled to Seymour and left with a convincing 63-28 victory.
“It means a lot to win the Summit Conference,” said Norwood head coach Wayne Jessen. “There’s been a multitude of good coaches win a lot of games at the schools here...”
