Christmas time fun in Mansfield

The First Nazaren Church was the winner of the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade float contest held Saturday, Dec. 14 in Mansfield. Renovation Church was the second place winner and the Garden Club was third place overall. There was a full afternoon of activities in Mansfield on Saturday which included activities for kids of all ages at several downtown businesses. Those were followed by the Christmas Lights Parade and an evening with Santa Claus during the annual Christmas at Laura’s event hosted by the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. Two days earlier, a Santa’s Workshop was held at the Ann Short Turner Community Center.
