Wedgewood Happenings

The annual Wedgewood Cat & Dog Tournament was held July 27-28.  Mark and Becky Duncan from Springfield have participated in this tournament for 38 years. Thank you for your dedication and for making the effort to join us each year.
Championship winners were Marty Stigall, of Mountain Grove, and June Gantner, of Hollister, winning first place with a score of 64. Marty Stigall and Linda Benyo, of Willow Springs, won second with a score of 64 also and third place was Carl and Beverly Hicks, of Willow Springs, with a score of 66.  
A-Flight winners were first place, Mark and Becky Duncan; second place, Dustin Hunter, of Cabool, and Jody Jarrett, of Cabool; and third place, Doug Jones, of Cabool, and Mary Beth Kaps, of Mountain Grove. 
Hole prize winners included CTP (closest to the pin) hole 2/11 Sheri Unger, of Mountain Grove, with 12’ 8” and Mary Stigall 9’ 8”. CTP Hole 5/14 Denna Tune, of Houston 9’ 11”, and Marty Stigall, 8’2”.  CTP hole 7/16 Linda Benyo, 11’ 6”, and Wade Williams, Mountain Grove, 5’9”. Longest putt hole 9/18 Donna Jones, of Cabool,  40’ 9”, and Stetson Evetts, of Houston, 11’ 4”. Hole-in-one prize opportunities were provided by Kevin Clary and Doug and Donna Jones. Hole prizes were provided by Randy Collins, Farm Bureau Insurance, and Wedgewood Country Club.
