Panthers host golf tournament

Mountain Grove’s golf team finished fourth place overall in a pair of tournaments last week.
In the one they hosted at Randle-Hinkle, four golfers finished with scores under a 90.
Mason Henry led the Panthers with an 83; Brady Anderson and Leedy Curtis both shot an 85; Brady Harris had an 87; and Aidan Kumpula shot a 114.
In the Ava Tournament, Harris was fourth place overall with a 79. Henry shot an 85, Curtis had a 91, Anderson shot a 98 while Kumpula shot a 117.
As for the JV, they won first place as a team in the Willow Springs JV Tournament.
Both Aidan Kumpula and Kyler Kumpula were first place as a scramble team shooting an 86.
Meanwhile, Jaxyn Proctor and Joey Kennedy were third place as a scramble team after shooting an 89.
