Panthers get win over Gainesville

Though a four game winning streak came to an end last week, the Mountain Grove Panthers did end their week by beating Gainesville, 6-2.
The Panthers scored five runs over the first two innings and led 6-0 through six innings before holding on for the victory.
Eli Golden and Trace Harker each had one RBI; Garrett Hutsell and Sam Peterson both scored two runs; while Kaden Murphy and Destin Unger each scored one run.
Harker tossed six scoreless innings and gave up two hits with seven strikeouts and three walks.
The Panthers’ Skip Thompson tossed a scoreless inning and allowed two hits with one strikeout and one walk.
One day earlier, the Panthers lost to Hartville, 13-3.
