Mountain Grove powerlifters second in regionals

Mountain Grove’s Powerlifting team after placing second in the regional championships.
The Mountain Grove Powerlifting team recently placed second in the regional championships event after several lifters earned medals in their division.
Slade Rodgers had the best overall performance as he was the strongest in all classes with a lifting total of 1,355 lbs.
He earned the regional title in the 250 Class.
Other regional champions included Andrew Whitson (225), Brannon Short (210), Aydon Barbe (195), Easton Doroscan (145) and Lexie Bibens (175 women’s).
Other Top-10 finishers included Sawyer Kidd (runner-up, 250); Gage Yarger (third, 155); Joey Hickcox (third, 175); Skyer Oliphant (fourth, 135); Bryer Lauderdale (fourth, 250+); Malaki Williams (fifth, 250+); Chris Fry (fifth, 155); TJ Brown (sixth, 155); Christian Stillwell (sixth, 195); Grayson Short (seventh, 165); and Mason Rodgers (ninth, 175).
