Mountain Grove Panthers crush Dora for win on Senior Night

Mountain Grove’s baseball team has now lost five of its last seven games, dropping their record to 8-15 on the season.
In a game where Dora came to town for Senior Night after Mansfield rescheduled, the Panthers held on for a 13-4 victory over the Falcons.
Trace Harker had four RBIs and two RBIs; Eli Golden had four RBIs; Brayden Haughey added two RBIs and two runs scored; and both Sam Peterson and Rusty Deaton were credited in Gamechanger for three RBIs. Haughey tossed four and a third innings, giving up three earned runs on three hits with eight strikeouts and five walks. Both Sam Peterson and Taylor Garner tossed a scoreless inning and both struck out three batters.
Back on April 28, the Panthers fell to Salem, 3-2, after the Tigers scored one run in both the fifth and sixth innings.
Peterson and Haughey both scored one run.
Haughey tossed five innings and gave up one earned run on five hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks. Briar Parsons tossed a scoreless inning and had one struck out. He gave up no hits.
Another loss came on May 2, a 10-0 one to Logan-Rogersville.
Peterson had three hits in the loss.
Parsons gave up four earned runs and Harker gave up one earned run as the defense made three errors in the loss.
Last weekend, the Panthers lost to a 14-2 Pacific team, 7-3, in the Salem Tournament.
Peterson had two RBIs. Garner tossed four and a third innings on the mound, giving up four earned runs on five hits with two strikeouts.
They also fell to Salem in the tournament, 8-0, in their second game.
The offense only had two hits in the loss.
