Lady Panthers take first in Mansfield tourney

The Mountain Grove Lady Panthers’ golf team won the Mansfield Lady Lions Tournament held at Randel Hinkle Golf Course as the Lady Lions also play on the Lady Panthers’ home course.
All five golfers finished in the Top—11 at the event.
Peyton Tyrrell was third place overall with her 97.
Payton O’Connor was seventh with a 104; both Chloe Slagle and Gabby Miller shot a 107 to tie for eighth place; while Emma Crewse shot a 113 for 11th place. Cara Nelson (130) also competed in the event.
Before that event, the Lady Panthers shot a 413 at Silo Ridge in Bolivar.
“Scores were a little higher than I’d hoped, but it is a very challenging golf course,” said Mountain Grove head coach Mike Mallow.
Slagle led the Lady Panthers with a 98. Tyrrell shot 101, Miller had a 109 and O’Connor shot a 110.
