Lady Panthers play eight matches in past six days

The Mountain Grove Lady Panthers’ volleyball team played eight matches in just six days as they are now 11-12-1 overall this season.
On Oct. 6, the Lady Panthers traveled to Eminence and let with a three set win over the now 15-win program.
Mountain Grove won the first set, 25-21, before winning the final two sets, 25-19.
They did take on a now 27-win Winona squad last week and were swept, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-14.
In the Houston Tournament played back on Oct. 4, the Lady Panthers did pick up three wins out of their six contests.
Mountain Grove defeated Thayer, 25-10 and 25-15, and cruised past Wright County foe Mansfield, 25-10 and 25-9.
They added a 25-11 and 25-16 win over Dora.
During the tournament, the Lady Panthers did drop three other match-ups.
Two of those losses came to Ellington. Mountain Grove first fell 25-16 and 25-19 before falling later 25-20 and 25-16.
The Lady Panthers added a 25-16 and 25-17 loss to Willow Springs to conclude their tournament.
