County CC runners named All-Region

Several Wright County cross country runners recently received All-Region honors by the Southwest Cross Country Coaches Association (SWCCCA).
Leading the way was Mansfield senior Nolyn Corder as he received a first-team honor and was named the Co-Runner of the Year after winning the state championship in Class 1. Teammates Braxton Bolfing and Michael Ivey both earned honorable mention honors for the region.
As for the girls in Class 1, Mansfield’s Faith Clark was named the Runner of the Year as she finished as state runner-up. She also earned first-team All-Region honors. Norwood’s Jayden Chambers was also a first-team All-SWCCCA selection after she earned an All-State medal
Second team honors went to Mansfield’s Gentry Alsup, who earned All-State honors, and Norwood’s Kalie Chadwell.
In Class 3, Mountain Grove’s Hunter Barlett earned All-Region honors.
As for the Lady Panthers, both Keena Roth and Abigail Sons received honorable mention honors for Mountain Grove’s girls.
