Mansfield archery competes in inaugural event at Spokane

A pair of Mansfield archers line up their target in the Lions’ inaugural meet in early January at Spokane.
Archers from two local Wright County programs recently began their season by competing in area events in recent weeks.

Archers from Mansfield competed in the first ever meet for the program back on Saturday, Jan. 4 in Spokane.
Joseph Kidd had the best score for the young program with a 246, which was good for 26th place.
Colton Wilson (230) and Darren Conners (222) were the Lions’ other two top scores.
Tristan Elijah has the best score for Mansfield Junior High’s team as he shot a 232 for 25th place.

Manes R-V’s archery program competed in the 2025 St. Jude E-Championship Charity Tournament.
Layne O’Neal had their top score as he shot a 247 for 66th place out of 347 total archers. The other two top scores came from Jaxon Ferebbee (238) and Olivia Boykin (225).
