Pregnancy Resource Center offers “Worth It” program to area schools

The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) or Mountain Grove is currently equipping teens and empowering futures through a health program provided in local schools called “Worth It.”
“Worth It” empowers youth to recognize their intrinsic value and make informed, healthy choices by providing medically accurate, relationship-centered and values-driven Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) education.
Through engaging content and compassionate mentorship, the program equips students to build strong foundations for their future-physically, emotionally and relationally-because they are worth it.
The program goes beyond the physical to help students understand their full worth.
Through interactive, age-appropriate lessons, it teaches the benefits of delaying sexual activity, how to build healthy relationships and how to set boundaries that support future success.
The message is clear: your value isn’t based on your past or your choices-you’re always worth it, and your future is too.
From the educator, Elizabeth Kuster,
RN-BSN
“Hi, I’m Elizabeth Kuster, RN, BSN. I was born and raised in Cabool, with a strong Christian foundation that has shaped who I am and how I serve others.
From a young age, I’ve felt a deep calling to care for people, which led me to become a nurse. I now work part-time in our local ER and serve as our “Worth It” educator in area schools.
This program gives me a unique opportunity to pour into the lives of young people, to help them make informed, healthy decisions about their future.
Working with youth is something I’m truly passionate about. I believe education rooted in truth, respect, and compassion can change lives.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my family and soaking in the beauty of the simple things.”
