Hartville track and field team’s season ends at state meet

Hartville’s track and field season came to an end after competing in the Class 2 State Championships held in Jefferson City.
Unfortunately, none of the Lady Eagles who qualified left with All-State medals.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Carlyn Cantrell, Kinley Cryer, Kenzi Stigall and Jayla Ferguson earned a 14th place finish in preliminaries after they completed the race in 4:28.57.
Individually, Cryer competed in the 800 meters and finished 15th in Class 2 with her time of 2:31.96.
Top eight finishes earn team points and All-State medals in the state championships.
