Hartville golfers shine in Grove and Branson

Hartville’s golf team had a solid week recently as they competed at events in both Mountain Grove and Branson.
At the Randel-Hinkel Golf Course in Mountain Grove, Jace Hughes tied for the first place score of 83 before losing in a scorecard playoff with a golfer from Willow Springs to place second overall.
Jesse Hughes shot his lowest tournament score as he finished with an 83. Jesse Vestal (90), Carson Ragland (100) and Brent Mount (102) rounded out the scores.
In the Forsyth Invitational at the Holiday Hills Golf Course in Branson, Jace Hughes tied for 10th place overall with a 76.
Vestal shot his lowest tournament score of 83, Jesse Hughes shot a 92 and Mount shot a 112 on the Par-68 course in Branson.
