Hartville CC competes in pair of area invitational races

The Hartville boys and girls cross country runners competed in a large field of runners at the recent Clever Invitational.
The best finish came from the Eagles’ Broc Roden, who was 50th out of 140 runners with his time of 19:19.
The boys were 14th in the team standings with a 348.
Other Eagles’ runners included Mason Rorrer (20:45.21), Gustin Dennis (22:23.92), Landan Medlock (24:37.25), Micah Clevenger (25:10.69) and Gunner LaFavor (29:25.03).
Claire Dickinson was the lone Lady Eagles’ runner and she finished the course in 27:40.10 as she finished in the back half of the 90-runner field.
Last week, the Eagles were eighth in the team standings with 165 points at the Mansfield Invitational.
Roden led Hartville with a 14th place time of 18:51.33 in a field of 82 runners. Other runners included Rorrer (20:55.61), Dennis (21:57.47), Medlock (22:40.20), Wyatt LaFavor (27:04.86), Caydince Hulsey (30:18.66) and Gunner LaFavor (33:24.81).
As for the Lady Eagles, Dickinson finished in 22nd place with a time of 24:44.74.
