Woman charged with domestic assault in incident involving a nightstick and knife

On Aug. 21, Wright County Deputy Kinser responded to a report of a domestic assault in the Mountain Grove area.
During the investigation, deputies learned that an altercation had occurred between Breanna Seiber, 29, of Mountain Grove, and a male victim. The investigation indicated Seiber struck the victim with a handheld object described as a “nightstick” and later displayed a folding knife during the altercation, making statements indicating an intent to use the weapon.
Deputies observed injuries to the victim consistent with the reported assault.
Following the investigation, Seiber was arrested and transported to the Wright County Jail.
Seiber has been charged with one count of domestic assault in the second degree, one count of domestic assault in the third degree and one count of unlawful use of a weapon. A $25,000 cash bond was issued. All persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
